I have mentioned confidence a few weeks back; the ability of walking into a room with a big smile on your face. Gradually, you will become more and more aware that you can do things in your way, the way it suits you. You will eliminate you fears.
Confidence is something you can work on. There are many tools to either get your confidence back or just boost it for a better life. I have highlighted a few examples in my previous blogs, but here are a few to remind you:
- List you achievements in a note-book
- Ask your friends about five things that they admire about you
- Don’t look back – only forward and focus your energy on that
Getting into action with your goals can also help with your confidence, especially when you start to receive positive feedbacks or achieve some of the “quick win” goals.
Also, there are lots of write ups about getting into a hobby; a newly learned skill that will give you the thrill, develop yourself and your patience. It’s a therapeutic way to get away from everyday stress and depression. Helps anxiety as well as self belief.
Goals make us happy as they bring purpose into our life, and your dreams become reality. When you start ticking off your list and you have the sense of achievement, now that’s the time you when your spirit will lift and you will get the bounce back in your walk.
“Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.”- Golda Meir
